Duo Ensoleille playing in Germany
December 2011
Looking forward to upcoming concerts with the fantastic Russian flutist Elizaveta Birjukova this December, who is known to own the stage like a monster-musician! Playing duos with her is always a true inspiration.
We will be on tour from Dec. 12 through Dec. 19 and are performing music by Piazzolla, Petolletti, C.Ph. E. Bach and much more. Follow our tour on Facebook, or even better, come to one of our concerts in Germany if you´re in the area!
Winter 2011
Season´s greetings! Here I am playing my favorite German Christmas tune "Es ist ein Ros´entsprungen" at Guitar Salon International in Santa Monica. What a treat to be able to record on this truly wonderful guitar: a Hermann Hauser I, built in 1952. This fine, balanced and very powerful spruce is the last instrument Hermann Hauser completed before he passed on. Many thanks to Tim, David and recording-wizzard Kai at GSI for this special moment! My arrangement is now available for download on the new "pulications" page.
La Bella strings
March 2011
My music takes me to ever new places this spring season! After visiting Frank Koonce at Arizona State University in Tempe and giving a lecture to the students there about "Music and the business", I am now following an invitation by the Central Coast Guitar Society to play in the beautiful hillside of Central California. Tune in for a live-interview on the day of my concert: March 17 on KCBX, 2pm Pacific Day Time.
As of this month I am thrilled to be officially a part of the La Bella strings family of endorsers! It is a huge honor to be included in the circle of fantastic artists endorsing La Bella products, such as Eliot Fisk, Andy York, Adam del Monte, Gilberto Gil, Brian Bromberg, to name only a few. My heartfelt thanks go to Bob Archigian from La Bella!

Kenny Hill´s workshop
Kenny Hill & Eva
Mai 29, 2010
In May I visited the birth-place of my beautiful instrument: Ben Lomond in Northern California. I play a signature double-top Hill guitar! Watching Kenny, Larry and the rest of the crew work their magic demonstrates once again how effective the combination of skill and determination is - very inspiring! My CD will be available as a pre-release at the GFA convention this year - visit Kenny Hill at the vendor´s fair to be among the first to get one!
American Country Music Awards 2010 in Las Vegas
Playing for Carrie Underwood at the 2010 American Country Music Awards
April 18, 2010
Carrie´s No. 1 song "Temporary Home" was arranged for classical ensemble and performed live in front of 20.000 people at the MGM Grand Hotel. The ACM Awards are also broadcasted live on national TV (CBS)- what a great show! Carrie also won "Entertainer of the year" that night for the second time.
Our band Yana Reznik (piano), Tina Guo (cello) and Neli Nikolaeva (violin) had four great days in Las Vegas, rehearsals with Carrie, and I met all kinds of amazing Country-musicians - just an amazing opportunity!
