Founded by guitarist and educator Eva Beneke in January 2014, and held monthly at the Lowertown Lofts Artist Cooperative in St. Paul, MN, Lowertown Classics features local artists and international performers during their Twin-Cities stay.
Now in its 3rd year, the multidisciplinary concert series has become a community event that enriches the lives of those living and working in Lowertown, St. Paul. Its word-of-mouth P.R. helps building new, passionate and loyal audiences for classical music in the Twin Cities. The series celebrated its 20th concert on September 16, 2016 with audience favorites flutist Catherine Ramirez. The 21st concert was be the closing event of the St. Paul Art Crawl on October 16th, featuring the LUX String Quartet and Jazz pianist Laura Caviani.

Each concert also features a visual artist from Lowertown who introduces the audience to their paintings, sculptures, textiles, photographs, video installations or mixed media works.
